Overview

Weather in Tatsumaki will be quite a bit different from most other games, in the sense that we won't just have falling sprites - but actual particle systems that will be randomized based on some simple equations, to make it look more realistic. The weather in Tatsumaki won't just randomly happen, but will occur as in nature; simulated by our Weather System

Rain, snow, and the like

The rain and snow in Tatsumaki will, as previously mentioned, be quite different from other games - in a sense that it will follow a logical pattern similar to real life, generated by our constantly running Weather System. If there is a town by a mountain, there will be very little rain near by; if its a hot day outside, near a lake - and the wind is blowing; the next day, or night - may bring heavy thunderstorms.

Physical Weather

Tornados, Tsunamis, Earthquakes, etc. - will affect the world in a very physical way; while we are currently unsure how the for-mentioned will affect the game world, we will make sure to include them in a way that feels real - but doesn't hurt your frame rate.

Weather System

Right now our weather system / generator, is still under wraps, but it will bring an extra level of depth to Tatsumaki, never before seen in any other online game; and do so in a somewhat realistic way.
