Quests

Quests fall under a number of categories; Mission, Journey, Pursuit, Crusade, Recon and Adventure.

Mission

Missions are important and complicated quests that are given to you by imperial powers such as the Emperor and the Shogunate and are only for people known far and wide in Japan. They could involve such complexities as gathering an army or something as simple as delivering an urgent letter across enemy lines. No matter what the Mission is, it will not be for the faint of heart and should not be taken lightly.

Journey

Journeys will mostly be seen in religious, and martial practices - they could last for days (game days), or even weeks - and involve exploring the land and finding certain areas, or reaching a goal of some sort.

In the case of a Martial (art) journey, the reward could vary from training with an unknown trainer, to learning the secrets of a legendary blacksmith.

In the end, the journey to the reward will out-weigh the reward itself; as in all spiritual or martial journeys, you will learn more finding ways to get to the end, rather than reaching the end.

Pursuit

Pursuits will be somewhat simple, and mainly aimed towards those who train in Martial Arts; they will simply involve following or chasing any number of other players, or NPCs;
Pursuits can be given by almost anyone, including players - the main usage of these quests will simply be to track down those who have either broken the law, or owe another money, or services.

Crusade

Crusades are religious quests that can involve any number of things, ranging from recruiting members for a religion - to standing up against another religion; the majority of Crusades will be either Christian or Buddhist, as once Christianity was introduced into the Japanese life-style, it was always threatened by the leading powers of the day - mainly with death, and torture.
Next to Assassination, the majority of Crusades will be considered highly dangerous, if not the most in the world of Tatsumaki.

Recon

Recon is the act of spying on an enemy, or others - these quests are split up into the following:

Information Gathering

One of the most useful forms of Recon, and in times of war - information gathering will simply involve spying on enemy troops, listening in on conversations, and so on.

Sabotage

Yet another important part of Recon and War - Sabotage will be one of the most fun aspects of Tatsumaki, and will simply involve destroying various enemy controlled areas, and items.

Thievery

Stealing any number of things, including but not limited to: Battle plans, items of worth, weapons, armor, players, important NPCs, and the like.

Assassination

While unorthodox, some Recon missions will involve assassinating certain individuals that the quest giver either feels is a threat, or worthless; these are by far, the most high paying and most dangerous quests in the game - and should not be taken lightly.

Adventure

Adventures, while closely related to Journeys, differ in several ways, in the fact that these quests will involve wandering aimlessly, throughout our world - enjoying the wild life, and finding common, and uncommon animals, plants, sights, and so on.
