Nutrition
Everything you ingest will cause certain effects. Although most food and drinks will be safe, many combinations may cause adverse effects (such as gas, lowered movement, etc) and many things such as certain mushrooms or fish are poisonous enough to cause death. Your character will need proper nutrition, the better your character's diet, the better your characters body reacts to stimuli such as exercise. Malnutrition will cause serious adverse effects like muscle loss, physical weakness, lack of stamina, agility etc. A healthy diet is an important part of Tatsumaki.
Illness
When you are cut and do not tend to it, when you do not eat properly, or eat things that are bad for you, when you are exposed to disease, or overexposed to the elements you will become sick. Illness can be treated in many ways, and in many cases it must be properly diagnosed to do so.
Treatment
Treating illnesses involves herbalism and alchemy. Many herbs directly ingested, or processed through alchemy can help increase healing, stave off infection and help keep you in good shape on a day to day basis. Certain foods and drinks created through the use of herbs and alchemical concoctions may also have healing and otherwise beneficial effects, in many cases more so then the initial herbs or concoctions.
Physical Attributes
We are currently debating the physical attributes that will be featured in Tatsumaki; as well as how much impact they will have on actual game play.
But we are, however - sure on one thing - the attributes won't hold as much ground over game play as they do with other games, a new player could easily defeat someone who has high attributes, as long as they know the inner workings better (Several times better in order to pull something like that off).
An example of a player's attribute list can be found here.
More information can be found here.
Health Training
Health training includes physical training such as running, swimming and martial arts as well as maintaining a proper balanced diet. A truly healthy character can make a truly strong character and maintaining a proper balance of exercise and nutrition will ensure that you live a long life.
