Jail

Overview

If you are arrested you will be transported to the local jail unless you have committed a crime severe enough to be executed.

When you arrive in jail what type of cell you are put in depends on the severity of the crime the more severe the crime the harder it is to break out on your own, and the more guards you will have to make it past. You can be broken out of jail by other players by using stealth or brute force.

The jails locks use a simple puzzle based locking system which gets more complicated the deeper you go, the guards deeper in will be more alert and have increased skill in fighting.

If you are spotted breaking out of jail you will still be a wanted man as well as anyone caught helping you if you leave those who spot you alive, if you keep from sight or kill any of the guards that spot you and make your escape you will be a free man and will no longer be sought after by the emperor.

Serious Crimes

Serious crimes, crimes that go beyond the game world and into breaking rules set by the developers - such as serious cases of language misconduct, will result in a public execution in the most populated area, almost instantly; upon the death of your character, it will be permanently deleted.
If a player breaks a developer rule again, their account will be permanently banned.

Serving time

We realize that spending time in Jail will be increasingly boring, which is why we have decided to let the player go after a certain amount of time has passed.
This time will vary based on the severity of the crime, but will always pass quicker while the player is inside of the game, as opposed to outside - we have yet to set an exact amount, but the difference between being inside and outside of the game will differ by as much as 300%, simply because spending time inside of Jail cell, will serve as a lesson to most players who break rules often.
